Induction, gas and electric cooktops fail for completely different reasons. Induction is almost always electronics; gas is almost always ignition, ports or pressure. Knowing which conversation you're in saves a visit.

Before you book
Find the model and serial number if you can — on refrigeration it's usually on the interior side wall or behind the lower grille, on ranges behind the storage drawer, on dishwashers along the tub edge inside the door. A photo of that plate lets us bring the right part to the first visit instead of the second.

My induction cooktop shuts off mid-cook. Why?
Almost always thermal protection. The cooling fan under the glass has failed or is blocked, the electronics overheat, and the unit shuts down to protect itself. Replacing the fan usually resolves it, and doing it early protects the inverter boards.
Do you carry parts on the truck?
For common failures on the platforms we service daily, yes — fans, thermistors, igniters, seals and pumps. Control boards and sealed-system components are ordered against your model and serial number.
How is cooktop & rangetop repair priced?
The diagnostic is $95, waived when you approve the repair. Repairs are quoted in writing as parts plus labor before we start, and carry 90 days on parts and labor.
